IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THE DATA BREACH AT THE HOME DEPOT
As you may know, Home Depot has reported a data breach that may have impacted some debit and credit cardholders. If you have used your VISA debit card at a Home Depot since April 1, your debit card has been limited to debit only and a new debit card has been ordered for you at no charge. This replacement card is a precaution to protect your account and does not indicate that there has been any confirmed fraud on your account. We are closely monitoring customer accounts for suspicious activity and will contact you if we suspect fraud. If you see transactions you do not recognize, please give us a call at 888-518-7053 or contact your local branch. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Working to make you feel secure:
- New Card Issue - We will proactively issue you a card if we determine that your account is at risk.
- Account Monitoring - Using our fraud monitoring tools, we are actively monitoring accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are looking for suspicious activity and transactions. We will contact you if we suspect fraud.
- Requiring PINS - If we determine your card information was involved in the breach, a PIN will be required to access your funds.
If you haven’t already, we suggest enrolling in Online Banking as it is an easy way to monitor your account. You can also sign up for automatic account alerts to stay in the know. Be sure we have an email address on file so you will receive future notifications.
